ACME anchor systems offer the best way to secure ACME boom and baffles in open water. The standard ACME anchoring system includes:

  • Two Modified Danforth-style Anchors with 3/8″ chains & shackles (Anchors available in 20 lbs. or 40 lbs.)
  • One 12″ Hard-skinned Mooring Buoy
  • Two Extra Large Red Inflatable Marker Buoys
  • One spool of 1/2″ polypropylene rope (500 ft.)
  • One spool of 1/4″ polypropylene rope (500 ft.)

Snatch blocks, tie bridles and other anchoring accessories are also available. Components are available individually.

ACME Environmental’s Super Mini Boom is built to be a strong, compact, and easily deployable containment boom. This particular boom is designed for a sweeping motion to gather contaminants and clean up waterways. Because of its size, light weight, and strength, our Mini Boom is perfect for small streams, creeks, stock ponds, and low water areas.

  • 4″ Skirt Depth
  • 1/4″ Galvanized Chain Ballast
  • 22 oz. / sq. yd. orange PVC coated fabric
  • Poly Couplers with Thumb Screw

Recommended Section Lengths: 25′, 50′ and 100′

Recommended Use: Super Mini Boom is recommended as a sweeping device to aid in the removal of oil on water when a prevailing wind or current does not exist or does not prevent efficient removal.

The Super Mini Boom is deployed around the oil and then moved to reduce the coverage area, increasing the oil thickness for more efficient recovery by a vacuum hose or floating skimmer.

This compact containment boom effective on small streams, creeks, stock ponds and low water areas.
