Vacuum Capability for Solid Material Removal

ACME’s 800-gallon vacuum trailer is designed for applications that require more than conventional liquid vacuuming. This unit can vacuum both liquids and solid materials, including dirt, rock, sludge, grease, and other accumulated debris.

The unit is particularly valuable when material needs to be removed carefully from confined, sensitive, or difficult-to-access areas. Its vacuuming capability allows crews to remove solid material without relying on traditional excavation methods, making it an effective option for specialized environmental and maintenance applications.

Proven in the Field

ACME has used this 800-gallon unit on projects requiring controlled removal of solid and accumulated materials. In one application, rock and dirt had covered monitoring wells that needed to be exposed and made accessible. This was used to remove the material and carefully uncover the wells without unnecessary excavation around them.

The unit has also been used for sump and pit cleanouts where both liquids and accumulated solids were present. One project involved an oil/grease/water separator located within a sump that required cleaning. The unit was used to remove the water, oil, grease, and solids that had accumulated within the pit, allowing the area and separator to be thoroughly cleaned and returned to efficient operation.
