ACME Seaweed Boom is manufactured to create a barrier between beaches and incoming Sargassum, seaweed, seagrass, and any other type of floating seaweed material to prevent problematic and overwhelming debris from piling up on the beach. This protects the beaches, the tourism, and marine life in areas that may be affected from these materials. It can also be used to effectively control floating trash and other types of debris. It is generally configured in 50′ and 100′ sections and features a permeable skirt RF welded to the float and chain pocket.

Configuration

Our specialized seaweed boom and Sargassum barrier features a 12″ diameter closed cell foam float and a 36″ permeable skirt RF welded into the float and chain pockets. It also features a 3/8″ chain ballast.
