Bulkhead Connector

Bulkhead connectors are beneficial for use in long term or permanent type installations that experience fluctuations in water level. Permanent installation locations for bulkhead connectors include fuel docks, storm water outlets and settling ponds. Bulkhead connectors are installed easily and allow for containment boom to rise and fall with the water elevation.

Bulkhead connectors are made up of a coupler extrusion, roller arms, rollers and floats. The bulkhead connector connects to a 4” I Beam that is permanently anchored and extended approximately 1’ above the highest water elevation. A stopper bolt is installed at the top of the I Beam to prevent the boom from disengaging from the beam.
