ACME In Action

Diesel Tanker Truck Spill

On January 5th, 2024, ACME responded to a spill resulting from a diesel tanker truck accident, which released 2,000 gallons of diesel fuel onto the ground. In response to this emergency, ACME mobilized a skid steer, an excavator, a mini-excavator, and an all-terrain ATV side-by-side, ensuring all necessary tools were on-site. Three skilled personnel were deployed to operate the heavy machinery, working to excavate the contaminated soil. Their goal was to remove the affected soil quickly and effectively, preventing further environmental damage. Once the soil was collected, dump trucks were ready to transport the contaminated soil safely away from the site for proper disposal. When spills happen, rapid response is critical. ACME Environmental is equipped with expertise, technology, and resources to contain and remediate spills efficiently. Grand Lake Spill

On January 19th, 2024, ACME Environmental responded to an oil spill that contaminated the waters of Grand Lake in Oklahoma. The incident occurred near a popular marina, where three boats had caught fire, ultimately sinking and leaving a trail of oil and gas floating around the boat slips. In ACME’s response, ACME mobilized a multitude of resources, equipped with eight hundred feet of containment boom, a spill trailer, and a dedicated team of seven personnel, ACME was prepared to tackle the environmental crisis head-on. Initially, ACME secured the affected area by strategically placing containment boom to prevent the hydrocarbons from spreading further into the lake. After the submerged vessels were removed from the water, the response team focused on removing the remaining oil and gas residues. The efforts extended to thoroughly cleaning the boat slips, ensuring that any persistent traces of contamination were eliminated, and restoring safety and health to the surrounding environment. At ACME Environmental, we are committed to rapid and effective spill response to protect our waterways. Contact us to stay prepared with spill containment and environmental restoration solutions.

Pond Oil Spill

On May 16th, 2024, an environmental emergency unfolded as a pipeline burst, releasing oil into a pond. Landowners alerted ACME to respond which resulted in ACME mobilizing an array of equipment, arriving on site with twenty-two hundred feet of containment boom, two all-terrain vehicles, and a crew of twelve trained personnel. Upon arrival, the team quickly set to work, strategically deploying the containment boom around the perimeter of the pond. Doing so effectively encircled the oil, preventing it from spreading further into the water and surrounding environment. The amount of containment boom utilized not only enhanced the efficiency of the recovery process but also minimized additional damage. ACME’s rapid and organized response assisted in a successful cleanup operation, bringing restoration to the affected ecosystem. When every second counts, trust ACME Environmental to deliver expert spill response and environmental restoration. Contact us to learn how we can help you stay prepared and protect your environment.

Permanent Boom Installation

On July 11th, 2024, ACME responded to a call at a power plant’s cooling pond, installing two hundred and fifty feet of containment boom to shield the machinery from external contaminants. This equipment was vital for maintaining the cooling system’s efficiency and protecting it from potential harm. To carry out this task, ACME deployed a team of four skilled personnel. Oil Contaminated Soil Remediation

On December 6th, 2024, an environmental incident occurred as a pipeline burst, spilling contaminants across a wide area that required decontamination. In response to this situation, ACME mobilized a response team, an excavator for heavy-duty excavation tasks, a remediation trailer, and an Ex Situ soil shredding unit. The operation was manned by three skilled personnel, each trained to handle the environmental remediation process. ACME began the remediation process by excavating the contaminated soil and removing layers of soil while ensuring minimal disturbance to the surrounding area. The excavated soil was then fed into the soil shredder, which utilized a proprietary blend of chemicals specifically designed to target and eliminate hydrocarbons, effectively breaking down the pollutants. After the treatment process, the decontaminated soil was returned to its place, ensuring that the landscape was restored as closely as possible to its original state. When environmental incidents strike, ACME Environmental is ready to act. Contact us today to discuss how we can support your environmental remediation needs and safeguard your community.
